Every time you pair a new running belt with a new deck surface, there's a golden opportunity to get the most mileage possible out of that running belt. Break in that belt/deck combo with Diamond Deck. Way more effective than paraffin, Diamond Deck works like a polishing compound, smoothing the underside of the belt and filling in the microscopic imperfections of the deck's phenolic laminate. A half pound of this "iron-on" product is enough to treat about 20 decks (both sides).
